In this seminar, we will present and discuss how SharePoint Based Search and Big Data Applications represent an untapped value to the Enterprise.

Search Based Applications (SBAs) are software applications in which a search engine platform is used as the core infrastructure for information access and discovery.

Big Data Applications (BDAs) are web-based applications that interpret and use massive amounts of enterprise and web-scale data to deliver more intelligent results.

Comperio har i mange år jobbet med samhandling gjennom virksomhetssøk (Enterprise Search) for norske virksomheter, vi kaller disse løsningene for bedriftens ‘Informasjonsmarkedsplass’. This webinar will provide recommendations for how to optimize your FAST Search Server farm for appropriate capacity and performance characteristics. The session will mostly cover troubleshooting tips for the FAST Search Server farm servers, and the configuration settings in the Content SSAs and analysing feed and indexing performance.

Individuals with FAST Search for SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint 2010 experience and/or have setup up a search farm before should find this presentation valuable. The presenter will also highlight SharePoint 2013 features that are advantageous over FAST Search for SharePoint 2010.
